What is The Secret to Money?
The secret to money is so simple that you probably won't accept it the first time you read it, but I urge you to stick with it and contemplate what I am about to tell you. There are three parts to the money secret:
1. Wealth consciousness
All money accumulation starts with having a 'wealth consciousness' which you may or may not have heard of before. However, this is only the first part of the secret to money. Let me explain.
Money is completely neutral and has a value only because we assign one to it. Money can be used for great good and equally it can be used for the most perverse and worst things that we can imagine.
The intrinsic value that each individual puts on money can be very positive to very negative based on your life experiences of money.
Many people think that money is the root of all evil. This is an untruth. In the bible it tells us that
'the love of money is the root of all evil.'
Can you see the difference?
My point is this. Depending how we feel about money, will have an effect on our wealth or money consciousness. A healthy wealth consciousness will attract prosperity and abundance into your life, while a poor one will attract poverty and lack.
How do we develop a positive wealth consciousness?
Well the first step you have already taken by finding this website. Don't underestimate what you have just done. To find the secret to money and develop a wealth consciousness you have to think differently from the crowd.
"You cannot help the poor by remaining poor yourself" Abraham Lincoln.
You must think bigger than your present position, you must not be content with mediocrity!
And now for the second part of the secret to money:
2. You must save money!
Please keep reading, this is not as obvious as it sounds in our present credit/debt world. You must save money on a regular basis not only so you physically have money but even more importantly so you remain positive and keep the money flowing towards you.
I cannot over emphasise how important this is!
It is the most important secret to money especially in the early days. Saving money will make you feel good. You have undoubtedly heard of sayings such as "success breeds success" and "money goes to money" and "the rich keep on getting richer" This is part of the reason.
Saving money on a regular basis keeps you in the money flow, it promotes a healthy wealth consciousness. So no matter how difficult it is you must start to save money regularly! Many people recommend 10% of your income. I recommend saving what you can afford, however make a conscious effort to save more and more which will also keep you focused and positive about money. And leave it alone!
The third part follows on naturally:
3. The Compounding effect
When you have started regularly saving money into a savings account and the money starts to build up you should start to make your money work harder for you. This is the third part of the secret to money and its all about compound interest.
Remember what Albert Einstein once said:
"the eighth wonder of the world is compound interest."
If you deposit £1000 in year one into a high yielding fund and thereafter double your money every year you will have over a £million by year ten!! To that end I recommend this investment.
When you are in a poor or lack frame of mind, giving money away will only produce more lack and poverty, after all you can't afford it yet.
Wait until you have more money before you start giving money away. There is no hard and fast rule about how much money you should have, however the important thing to bear in mind is how you feel when you give it away. This feeling will either keep you positive and in the money flow or will make you negative and money flow will stagnate.
